On 26th September I had a very enjoyable visit to the good folk in Bangor Library’s Thursday Reading Group. Everyone gave their views on Maker of Footprints and it was so lovely to discuss the characters in the book with readers who had so obviously cared about them and their journeys. Everyone took something different from the book.
Writing a novel is a very solitary occupation so it is always a pleasure to meet readers who talk about the people I have created in a way that makes me feel they are as alive for them as much as they are for me!
If any other Reading Groups would like to take on the book, I’d be happy to say ‘hi’, either in person (if you’re not too far away!) or via Skype.
Some book bloggers have sent me questions and have used my answers to these in their blog reviews of the book. Happy to do that too! Just contact me here.
